Architecture principles
Requirements, architecture views, quality attributes, decision records and system boundaries.
Develop architecture-level thinking across requirements, data, identity and security, integrations, platform limits, reliability, migration, and release planning. Learn to explain design decisions and balance business needs with technical constraints.
Architectural decisions affect security, cost, maintainability, user experience, and future change. This course uses scenarios to practise documenting options, risks, assumptions, and trade-offs.
Experienced Salesforce administrators, developers, and consultants. The learning path can be adjusted to the learner’s starting level after an initial discussion with the training team.
Prior Salesforce implementation experience is strongly recommended.
Duration is a recommended planning estimate. Final hours and lab access should be confirmed for the selected cohort.
Study the learning sequence below. Module delivery order may be adjusted to the cohort’s background and the available Salesforce training environment.
Requirements, architecture views, quality attributes, decision records and system boundaries.
Data ownership, migration, model design, master/reference data, quality and retention.
Identity, authentication, authorisation, sharing, access model and compliance questions.
API patterns, event-driven integration, error handling, idempotency, limits and reliability.
Governor limits, performance, async design, data volumes and operational monitoring.
Risk register, trade-offs, target architecture, migration/release plan and stakeholder defence.
Prepare a target architecture proposal for an enterprise CRM scenario with data and integration views, access design, a risk register, and a migration/release plan.
The following are example role directions aligned with the skills taught. Hiring requirements differ by employer, experience, communication skills, and hands-on ability.
No. Prior implementation experience is strongly recommended because the course focuses on architecture decisions rather than introductory configuration.
No. It is a learning pathway, not an official credential. Current certification requirements should be checked directly with Salesforce.
A target architecture, data and integration approach, security considerations, risk register, trade-offs, and release plan.
The course may include certification-aligned preparation, but it does not issue an official Salesforce credential. Check the current official exam guide, registration process, prerequisites, and fees separately.
