Integration architecture
System/API-led patterns, integration requirements, latency, reliability and failure scenarios.
Learn the building blocks of enterprise integration with MuleSoft concepts, API-led architecture, API contracts, data transformation, connectors, error handling, security policies, and runtime operations. Exercises connect sample systems through documented API flows.
Integrations must work across systems with different data formats and reliability requirements. This course teaches learners to plan interfaces, validate payloads, handle failures, and monitor integration behaviour.
Integration developers, backend engineers, and solution consultants. The learning path can be adjusted to the learner’s starting level after an initial discussion with the training team.
REST APIs, JSON/XML, and basic programming are helpful.
Duration is a recommended planning estimate. Final hours and lab access should be confirmed for the selected cohort.
Study the learning sequence below. Module delivery order may be adjusted to the cohort’s background and the available Salesforce training environment.
System/API-led patterns, integration requirements, latency, reliability and failure scenarios.
REST resources, methods, payloads, error models, pagination, versioning and documentation.
Anypoint Platform concepts, API Designer, Exchange, runtime/deployment concepts and environment configuration.
Connectors, transformations, routing, DataWeave concepts, validation and error handling.
Authentication, policies, secrets, logging, monitoring, retries and operational support.
Connect mock CRM and order systems through an API flow with validation and error handling.
Connect a sample CRM and order-management service through an API flow with data transformation, validation, security considerations, and error handling.
The following are example role directions aligned with the skills taught. Hiring requirements differ by employer, experience, communication skills, and hands-on ability.
Basic programming and API knowledge are recommended to get the most value from hands-on integration work.
Availability must be confirmed before the cohort starts. Do not assume paid production access is included.
Yes. Learners design and test an integration flow between sample CRM and order services, including error handling.
The course may include certification-aligned preparation, but it does not issue an official Salesforce credential. Check the current official exam guide, registration process, prerequisites, and fees separately.
